Joyful generosity!

Worshipping God from the heart with our resources.

We have been invited to participate in the greatest mission ever. To share the Gospel with people everywhere in truth and love. And you can be a part of it by giving with generosity.

Consistent generosity truly helps us proclaim the greatness of God to people near and far!

We also want to highlight a recommended method of giving — online donations on Church Center website or the Center Center app, sent through your bank account (also known as ACH).

While we will always accept donations via cash, check, bank bill pay, or credit/debit card (on Church Center), here are three reasons why we particularly like ACH donations:

  • Online giving is more secure than cash or checks, especially if sent through the US Mail. Online giving minimizes everyone’s exposure to loss, fraud, or processing delays — at the bank, in the mail, or at the church.
  • ACH transactions cost only $.30 each. By contrast, card transactions (both debit and credit) cost $.30 each plus a 2.15% processing fee. While cash and checks are free to you as a donor, there is a volunteer cost of time spent collecting, counting, entering data, and making the bank deposit.
  • Online giving also gives you options for you to cover the processing fees, which helps make your donation dollars go further.

To start giving online, please visit MountAiry.church/give or open the Church Center app on your phone.

We appreciate your generosity!

Gifts of Appreciated Securities

Gifts of appreciated securities are a smart and simple way to maximize the effectiveness of your charitable giving. If stocks or mutual funds*, you may want to consider using these assets, rather than cash, to fund your giving. By transferring ownership of your long-term stock to Mount Airy Bible Church, you make a gift to support the ministry and avoid the capital gains tax you would pay if the stock were sold, and you may claim a charitable income tax deduction for the current fair market value of the asset. Please contact us for more information or consult your professional tax advisor.

*Does not apply to tax-exempt retirement plans (e.g., IRAs, 401(k)s, etc.)
